Description

Overview Enjoy the historic and beautiful city of Victoria in the evening hours while the sun makes its departure. Experience a range of local and traditional food and drinks, share stories and learn about the cultural heartbeat of the island of Gozo! What you'll do Take a relaxing evening stroll through the city of Victoria learning about what makes the Gozitan culture so special. Taste a range of iconic Gozitan food and drinks and learn about their emergence and place in the local cuisine. Examples of food tasted are local pastizzi, Maltese ravioli, rabbit stew and more. Since you will be enjoying the hours of sunset, taste a cocktail made with a local liqueur, a local wine and more. If you’re visiting Gozo, we recommend doing this early in your stay as you’ll get lots of tips to make your time here amazing, plus have the opportunity to make friends and gain local insight. Tour details The tour begins across the street from the Victoria bus terminus and ends at The Citadel. The tour covers approximately 1.5kms of walking at a leisurely pace, on a mostly flat terrain. Suitable for Solo travellers, couples, small groups and families. You’ll be in a fun and friendly group consisting of local travellers. Group Size Up to 12 people (minimum numbers do apply). For private tours, we can take more, simply contact us for details. Age range This tour is great for all ages and we have hosted everyone from 8 month olds to 80 year olds. If you have children below the age of 9, perhaps consider their attention span and taste palate. Please note: Minors will not be served alcohol in accordance with Maltese regulations. Accessibility Part of Gozo’s charm is that it is old and historic. Unfortunately, this means that it is not well-equipped to handle wheelchairs and baby strollers. If small children are young enough, a baby carrier is highly encouraged. Those requiring wheelchair access would be best to organise a private tour where we can modify the route to ensure accessibility. Dietary notes Please let us know in advance if you are vegetarian, so we can accommodate your needs. While we love to accommodate all dietary requirements, it is important to note that vegan, kosher and gluten-free options are very limited. Please share your dietary requirements upon booking and we can discuss your options, always doing our best to accommodate your needs.

Includes

Several local food samples plus a two course finisher. Some local drinks, including a wine/beer, a cocktail and a liqueur. A local host to guide you through the city. A Gozo bingo card highlighting our personal food recommendations. Digital photo of tour group shared at the end of tour.
